LUCiA is a conversational AI agent that values properties, compares listings, evaluates rentals, and surfaces investment opportunities — all inside WhatsApp. No app to install. No login. Just a message.

My role: I designed and built LUCiA end-to-end — the conversation architecture, the real estate intelligence layer, the integration with our valuation models, and the production deployment on WhatsApp Business API. This is the system that the product team now iterates on top of.

Why it matters: Real estate data in Mexico has historically been opaque and broker-controlled. LUCiA puts an AI analyst in the hands of any buyer, renter, or investor — at scale, in the channel they already use.

Yals is the AVM (Automated Valuation Model) platform behind some of the largest real estate networks in Mexico — RE/MAX, Clau, Flat and others. The models provide instant, data-backed price estimates for residential properties nationwide.

My role: designing and maintaining the statistical models that produce valuations. This means working across the full data science stack — feature engineering, model selection, validation, and the pipelines that keep everything fresh and accurate at scale.

Enterprise impact: the same valuation engine powers the pipelines that revalue mortgage portfolios for HSBC, Banorte, Scotiabank, and Citi — covering thousands of homes across Mexico with bank-specific insurance logic and automated letter dispatch.
